President's Message

Hello and welcome to our website! We are proud to present this as a new resource to our membership, and to help introduce ourselves to everyone out there, particularly those in Westchester County, NY, and surrounding areas. You can find out more detailed information about us elsewhere on the site, but as a brief introduction:

Our user group can be best pictured as a "personal computer club", wherein people who share a common interest in personal computers can meet and exchange information about personal computers and their uses. All our functions are run by enthusiastic volunteers, including the Executive Board, Website and newsletter staff, and our SIG leaders. WPCUG membership is on a "household" basis, with one $40 annual dues conferring membership to all within a single household. This includes a 12 month subscription to our monthly newsletter, rights to attend all our SIG’s, discounts on software from major vendors, free support from our volunteers on our "help desk", and access to our answer-forums in the "members only" area of this website.

I extend the invitation to our membership to contact our webmaster to get a log-in access code to our members-only area. Also, you may want to have us list a link to your own home or business website here. Weather related cancellations, or other unforeseen last-minute changes to the calendar, will be made available here, as well.
